Final Mixes at Sony
The talented Steven Ticknor this week mixed Curtis' score with sound for Disarmed at the Sony Lot in LA.
Disarmed - LOS ANGELES, USA
Curtis has just scored the US comedy Disarmed starring James Kyson Lee (NBC's Heroes) shot by Robert Brinkman (U2: Rattle and Hum) Directed by Justin Dittrich, Produced by Melanie Blair and Written by Shashwata Chatterjee.

Curtis will be at ComicCon, San Diego in July this year.

Curtis has been selected to speak at the Music and Moving Image Film Music Conference in New York in May.

Leah Curtis is a composer and music producer for film,
theatre, interactive arts and the concert hall.
Her work has been heard internationally on concert hall stages and
in the cinema. Curtis’ music has earned significant
recognition, including the Queens Trust Award, the Reg Waite Award,
winner of the Sydney Symphony
Orchestra Composer
Competition, and in the USA, the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop in Los
Angeles, the BMI Jerry Goldsmith Film Scoring Fellowship.
Performances and recordings of her work have been undertaken by
diverse world class ensembles, including the Tasmanian and Sydney Symphony Orchestras (ASME Composer Competition and SSO Young Composer
Dialogue), as well as the Hollywood and Prague Studio Symphony
Orchestras. Curtis has composed for concert hall and cinema,
scoring many film productions, and interactive projects displaying
her adaptability in style and genre.
Curtis is an Australian - American Fulbright Scholar. Recent
projects include the trailer to the action feature film for Roger
Corman, In the Distance with visual artist Jon Tarry, a symphony
based on Australia, as well as a Logo for the feature film Ghost
Rider. Recently, she has
composed and conducted a number of film scores, including U-238
(USA), Grace (USA), Interval (USA mandarin with subtitles), and The
Spirit of the Sword (Japan).
She is currently engaging in international collaborations on a
number of productions, sharing her time between Los Angeles USA,
Sydney Australia and other locations where projects take
her.
